Satsang
Satsang is a ceremonial celebration in the service of Truth.
“Listen to me as you listen to music or rain.
Don’t interpret me, don’t try to understand me.
This inspiring music, spontaneous words, will take you out of your mind and take you to another dimension:
Your original Reality without form.
Spirituality is an art, not a belief, faith, method or therapy.
It is entering the reality that underlies all phenomena.
Opening up and listening to this art transforms all of your being.
Or rather, it exposes your being and encourages creativity.
Authentic religion is art.
Authentic or objective art leads to religion.
Religion is the connection with the totality.
It is being absorbed by the whole.
In which all delusions about separateness have been dissolved.
Like Bach or Mozart can uplift you into the light,
Satsang with Naropa takes you to your deepest inner self.
It releases you from your small and limited state of being for you to be absorbed into universal realization.”
Satsang is the subtlest art form,
Beyond the reach of techniques and explanations.
It is beyond cause and effect.
It is beyond understanding, just like Love.
The artist is open and connected to the very highest and is able to express what cannot be said with words or explained.
Satsang is an ancient concept.
People come together to be in the field of consciousness and love of the awakened one,
until they realize this awakened and enlightened consciousness itself.
It this time of spiritual inflation this term is unfortunately used for other gatherings.
Naropa represents the authentic transmission in a contemporary way.
All superfluous dogmatic and traditional concepts have been seen through and released.
Naropa is “the new man”.
A mystic is not an authority but a friend.
You do not look up to the mystic but you are friends with him or her.
Because you are essentially no different: you are consciousness / love.
This dangerous friend is a mirror showing you your true face and your falsehood.
He loves you unconditionally and confronts you with your ignorance and pain – your spiritual sleep.
He or she helps you with the total integration of your awakened manifestation.
Now that you no longer have any identity,
You are free of yourself and the imaginary others.
Enlightenment
This concept is virtually unknown in the west. It is therefore not surprising that people get deluded by this principle. That is part of Maya, the distortion of reality. You sometimes hear distortions such as ‘conversations about non-duality’ or ‘dialogue about truth’.
Enlightenment is, however, the immediate realization and incarnation of reality. It is beyond the verbal and conceptual mind. It is immensely deep and irreversible. This ensures that you pass all psychological and emotional baggage and realize the in-ground, the emptiness of existence into which awareness disappears. This is called enlightenment.
“Unrolled”
You will not get cheap or mental teachings with Naropa. Even the scarce techniques – just like the oral transmission – are only here to focus your attention and bring you into the field of consciousness. From division to being and from being to non-being.
Nor does Naropa wear a spiritual uniform to impress you or to seduce you. He does not pretend to be different than he is.
You cannot make a career in the sangha because there are no positions to be divided.
It is important to let go of every position or posture. To be nobody. Naropa has no role. He is unrolled. The master disappears as soon as you see your reality. He is certainly not trying to please you. He doesn’t want you to understand him or agree with him. He does not meet your childish needs. He is himself and invites you to be yourself too.
Individual satsang
If you wish to undergo authentic and intensive self-examination with Naropa, you can make an individual appointment. The focus is on Self-realization, Maturity and dismantling your false structure. Therapy is out of the question, although such an essential encounter has drastic therapeutic effect.
